WEEKEND SPORTS ANCHOR/REPORTER
Fox Tri-Cities is now hiring a weekend sports anchor/reporter.
This position will be responsible for producing the 6:00 and 11:00 weekend sportscasts on WCYB News 5 and the 10:00 weekend sports show on Fox Tri-Cities, as well as other programs as needed. The reporter will write and edit stories, shoot and report for News and Sports and serve as the backup anchor for Sports.
Applicants should have previous television news experience, strong creative writing skills and news judgment and the ability to shoot and edit videotape. Applicants should also be able to report and produce live shots, stack show, work as part of a team under deadline pressure and handle stress of newscast production and changing hours.
A degree in broadcast journalism is preferred.
