Extended Forecast:
A cool front will slide to our south Friday, delivering a shot of pleasant, less humid air Friday afternoon through early Saturday. Highs will stay above normal however, near 90 in the Tri-Cities.
The cool front will lift back to the north as a warm front on Saturday, resulting in higher humidity levels and scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and evening. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again Sunday, mainly in the afternoon and evening (best chances east of I-81).
The weather will turn partly cloudy and hot with only isolated afternoon thundershowers for most of next week. Highs will soar into the low to mid 90s, while lows will drop into the middle 60s to near 70. Normal high is 85, low 64.
Enjoy the drier air and sunshine Friday! Thanks for coming by for the latest local forecast.
