GRAND PRIZE/DECLARATION:

Grand Prize winners will depart from Roanoke Regional Airport and will be responsible for their transportation to and from Roanoke. In Los Angeles, hotel accommodations will be provided for each couple for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night, the week of the American Idol finale show. Round trip transportation to LAX airport will be provided as well as transportation to and from the Wednesday finale show. A dinner for all winners will be hosted one night by Grand Home Furnishings. The winner will receive $500 spending money.
Prize Value Declaration: $5,000

Must be 21 years or older to win/qualify. No purchase necessary. Contest runs from 3-4-08 to 4-21-08. One winner/qualifier per household. Void where prohibited. Chances of winning the prize depends upon the number of correct entries received at the Grand Home Furnishings locations within the Tri-Cites, VA/TN. 8 weekly winners will be announced during Fox-Tri-Cities News at 10 each Wednesday, beginning March 5th. One Grand Prize winner will be drawn from the 8 weekly winners and will be announced/determined on April 25, 2008. Contest is open to residents that live within the Fox Tri-Cities Viewing Area as based upon Nielsen Media Research. Void where prohibited by law.

To enter the promotion at Grand Home Furnishings: Fill out the official 2008 WIN A TRIP TO AMERICAN IDOL FINALE entry form available at all Grand Home Furnishings in the Tri-Cites, VA/TN. All entries must be hand-printed and no mechanically reproduced entries will be permitted. Illegible and/or incomplete forms are ineligible. Entry forms are void if forged, altered or obtained other than as set out in the rules.

Employees of WEMT Fox Tri-Cities, Grand Home Furnishings or their families, are not eligible to enter. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Odds of winning depend upon the number of people qualified. Only one qualifier per family or household. Qualifiers will be required to present a valid driver’s license or other form of identification at check-in to verify their claim of the prize. All entries must be received by April 21, 2008 at Grand Home Furnishings locations in Tri-Cites, VA/TN.

Winner will be required to execute an Indemnification and Waiver of Liability, whereby participating entrants agree that the participants and Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C., its subsidiaries, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents and their employees are not liable for any injury or damage of any kind resulting from the entry of the contest. Entrants agree to give permission to use entrant/s name and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising and trade without compensation. Qualifier and Winner must meet eligibility requirements as required by Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C., its subsidiaries, their affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and their employees shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, illegible or late entries. By entering, contestants accept these rules and agree to be bound by the results of the contest. All decisions made by Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C. and Grand Home Furnishings. Rules may be changed or modified as conditions warrant.

L.L.C. and their employees and immediate families are not allowed to participate. All entries must be from the Fox Tri-Cities viewing area.

WEMT Fox Tri-Cities and Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C. holds the right to deny any and all entries if not adherent to the rules or would pose a danger to themselves or other employees of WEMT Fox Tri-Cities or Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C.

Prize Redemption/Claim/Releases: Prizes may be claimed within thirty (30) days from the date of winning. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited. Winners must complete a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. To meet Federal Tax Regulations, all winners must present their social security number and are responsible for all taxes associated with prizes. Prizes are considered income and taxes on said prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release FOX Broadcasting Company, News America, Inc., FOX Interactive Media, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., 19 TV Ltd., 19 Merchandising Ltd., CKX, Inc., their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each.
WEMT Fox Tri-Cities and Esteem Broadcasting. L.L.C., it’s ownership, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate families, successors and assigns from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any prize-related activity.

All decisions are final. WEMT Fox Tri-Cities holds the right to change any aspect of contest at any time without prior notice.

All American Idol execution rules and regulations regarding prizing must include the following disclaimer: (i) “In the event production of American Idol is cancelled or postponed, the ticket portion of the prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefore.” and (ii) “If a ticket prize is awarded, the winner’s guest to the American Idol show must be at least 6 years old.”
