   Our streak of wet weather is coming to an end! Some morning fog should lift giving way to partly cloudy and warmer conditions on Friday. And after several days of cooler than normal temperatures, summer heat is back!

A weak front will move across the Tri-Cities on Saturday. Only spotty thundershowers are expected as this weather system moves across the region. In fact, a ridge of high pressure will build into the Tri-Cities next week bringing with it above normal temperatures....and generally dry conditions.

Hurricane Gustav will likely be the main weather story this Labor Day weekend. It could make landfall along the central Gulf coast around Tuesday of next week. Its moisture is not expected to affect the Tri-Cities through most of next week.
